Born and raised in Chongqing, China, Renfang studied philosophy at Xiamen University before moving to New York City to pursue filmmaking. Over time, her creative journey evolved into an intimate dialogue with painting and photography.
Deeply influenced by the rhythms of the city and the people she encountered, Renfang’s work reflects a quiet but persistent search for form, stillness, and resonance.
Today, she continues to expand her visual language as both a painter and photographer.
